Full line up revealed for new Bristol music festival BS3
10 artists will perform at the stadium in June across two stages
Organisers of Ashton Gate Stadium's brand new music event BS3, have announced its final line up this morning (15 March).
Joining NE-YO, Craig David Presents TS5, DJ Spoony Presents Garage Classical, Jess Glynne and host Fatman Scoop for the first one-day festival to be held at the stadium, are Dizzee Rascal, Stefflon Don, Roni Size, Damage, House Gospel Choir and Krush.
Taking place on Saturday 22 June, BS3 will feature a full day and evening of music from all 10 artists, performing across two stages, with no chance of mud.
Jenny Hutchinson, Venue Director at Ashton Gate said: “We are thrilled to announce six more phenomenal artists to complete the line-up for Ashton Gate Presents BS3.
"With more than 20 Number One singles and almost 70 Top Ten singles between them, we could not wish for a better line-up for the first ever one-day festival to be promoted by the stadium."
Organisers claim the event will be like nothing Bristol has seen before, with a line up "that has something for everyone."
Dizzee Rascal is considered one of the most successful British rappers of all time after breaking into the charts in the early 2000s, with his Mercury Prize-winning debut album, Boy In Da Corner.
The BRIT and MOBO award-winning grime pioneer went on to earn global recognition with his platinum-selling fourth album, Tongue N’ Cheek, which featured the UK Number One singles ‘Dance Wiv Me’ (featuring Cavin Harris), ‘Bonkers’, ‘Holiday’ and ‘Dirtee Disco’.
Dizzee Rascal released his eighth studio album, Don’t Take It Personal, earlier this year and will bring his collection of chart-topping hits to the main stage for the inaugural BS3 event.
MOBO and NME award-winning British rapper Stefflon Don also joins the line-up, only a year after performing on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.
There will also be a special homecoming for Bristol native Roni Size, widely recognised as one of the most important drum ‘n’ bass pioneers thanks to the critical and commercial success of his Mercury Prize-winning, platinum-selling debut album, New Forms.
