It was a busy night for Avon & Somerset Police who were called to a smashed window and a van on fire, amongst a number of incidents.

They also revealed that officers had eggs thrown at them by a group of youths.

It comes as the force reveals the top 10 persistent callers in the area have made a total of 867 calls in the last month.

The force shared real-time updates on social media overnight to highlight the calls they attended - to try and show the impact of things like anti-social behaviour.
