Last updated 12th Mar 2024
Flooding is causing issues across the South West today (Tuesday 12 March).
Commuters are facing long delays on the A4 Portway in Bristol, which is partially blocked in both directions from A3029 Brunel Way to A4176 Bridge Valley Road.
There is congestion to most routes inbound towards Hotwells including the A370 Brunel Way and the A369 Clanage Way.
Emergency services are on scene and motorists are urged to find alternative routes.
Bristol City Council have said it is high tide, meaning water levels are high.
In Cornwall, St Ives is also suffering as waves from high tide have overtopped the seawall.
There's multiple flood warnings and alerts in place across Cornwall, with the Environment Agency advising us to avoid driving through flood water.
Drivers are being warned to check before you travel.
There is disruption on some Great Western Railway lines too. You can find the details on their website or Twitter page.
