All flights are currently suspended at Bristol Airport (7 January).

In a post on social media, the airport said: "due to the ongoing weather conditions all flights have been currently suspended until 07:30".

It comes as on Saturday night (4 January) flights also had to be suspended due to snow.

Emergency services are also warning people to take care on the roads as a yellow weather warning for snow and ice remains in place until 10am across the West Country.

Gritters have been out and about already trying to keep traffic moving, but we are being warned the weather could make journeys and driving conditions treacherous.

The Met Office said there will be icy stretches and sleet or snow showers overnight, bringing some disruption, especially to travel.
