Emergency services are at the scene of a large ship fire at Bristol's Royal Edward Dock.

11 fire engines and 60 firefighters are dealing with the blaze which broke out at lunchtime.

Avon Fire and Rescue Service say there are no reported injuries.

In a statement on X, the service said: "We're currently at a large ship fire at the Royal Edward Dock, Avonmouth."

"We currently have 11 fire engines, specialist appliances and approximately 60 firefighters on the scene tackling the fire.

"Thankfully, no one has been injured.

"We encourage people to avoid the area while we deal with the fire."
