Emergency responses shared at 'Somerset Prepared' event

Different villages and towns from across Somerset today came together to share best practice ideas for things like flood, snow and fire responses.

Talks included from the Environment Agency, Somerset Rivers Authority and Wiveliscombe Town Council - who talked about the local emergency planning they've been doing.

The 'Somerset Prepared' awards have also been taking place as part of the event to celebrate the communities with the best plans in place.
