A man in his 70s has died after a crash involving three cars in Clevedon.

It happened on Tickenham Road just after 4:30pm on Tuesday afternoon (30/11).

In total five people were taken to hospital but the elderly man, who was driving one of the cars, did not survive.

The road was closed for several hours while Avon and Somerset Police investigated the scene.

They are now asking anyone who witnessed the crash or the moments leading up to it, to get in touch.
