E-scooter rider seriously injured in Bristol crash
It happened on Avonmouth Road at around 9.40pm last night
An e-scooter rider is in hospital with serious injuries after a crash with a car in Bristol.
The ambulance service contacted police shortly after 9.40pm following a collision between a car and an e-scooter in Avonmouth Road.
The e-scooter rider, who is a man in his 20s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
Road closures were put in place but were lifted at about 12.50am.
In a statement, Avon & Somerset Police said: “Anyone who witnessed the collision or may have relevant CCTV or dashcam footage, is asked to call 101 and provide reference number 5224201291.”
