Celebrations as Toneway junction reopens to traffic

A ribbon was cut today to celebrate the reopening of a major road into Taunton - ahead of the schools returning.

The Toneway, Creech Castle junction, has been closed for a year to undergo £8.3 million works which aim to reduce congestion at peak times.

The project, was postponed during the pandemic, and seen lots of disruption for drivers.
