Child hit by van in Bristol

A child has been taken to hospital after being hit by a van in Henbury.

It happened yesterday on crow lane, with the road being closed for almost three hours.

The child is not believed to have life threatening injuries.

Police said they were called by the ambulance service at 9.18am following a reported collision involving a van and a pedestrian on Crow Lane in Henbury.

The road was closed for close to three hours, being reopened at 11.40am.

They added that “The pedestrian, a child, was taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.”
