Woman falls from Cabot Circus car park

A large emergency service presence remains at the scene.

Emergency services were called to Cabot Circus at around 12:20 this afternoon following reports that a person had fallen from the car park.

A woman has since been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The car park is closed and police remain at the scene.

Statement from Avon and Somerset Police

Shortly before 12.40pm today we received a report someone had fallen from the Cabot Circus car park off Newfoundland Road, Bristol.

Emergency services attended and a woman has since been taken to Southmead Hospital with serious injuries.

Officers remain at the scene and are carrying out enquires to establish what happened.

The car park is currently closed.
