The co-owners of Bristol Rovers have agreed to sell their shares in the club after eight years at the Memorial Stadium.
Wael and Samer al Qadi's 45% stake will be acquired by current chairman Hussain Al Saeed over the next 18 months; Wael al Qadi will remain as club President until then.
The Al Qadi family have overseen two promotions and a relegation since the Jordanians became majority owners in 2016, including the infamous 7-0 final day win over Scunthorpe.
Kuwaiti businessman Al Saeed purchased a majority share in Dwane Sports, the holding company of the League One club, in the summer of 2023.
Wael Al Qadi said: “I am thankful to have had the chance to work with so many devoted people, I will always treasure the love and support from everyone at BS7 and wish everyone there all the best.
"To all of the players, managers and staff, past and present. You sacrificed everything and attacked every challenge bravely and I truly love and appreciate every single one of you.
And to the fans, he added: "Your passion, commitment and love for this football club is unrivalled in English Football.
"Thank you for welcoming me and my family into the club and for all the wonderful memories we created together."
Hussain Al Saeed said: “I want to personally thank Wael and Samer for their contributions and for helping to ease the transition during this takeover.
"Their support has been invaluable throughout and they will always be a part of the Bristol Rovers family.
"I am excited and proud to lead the club into a bright future, building on top of the strong foundations that have been established."
Rovers currently sit 14th on League One and travel to Mansfield Town later today, aiming to return to winning ways after two draws on the bounce.
