A crowd has gathered in Queen Square, Bristol to pay tribute to Sabina Nessa, who was killed in south-east London a week ago today (24 September).
Candles have been lit, flowers have been laid and placards have been placed against the statue in the centre of the square.
28-year-old Sabina had set off to meet a friend on what should have been a short journey in Kidbrooke at 8.30pm on Friday 17 September, but she never arrived. Her body was discovered in Cator Park the following day.
Two men arrested on suspicion of her murder have since been released pending further investigation.
Rhiannon Ellen, who organised tonight's vigil in Bristol, said: "I just felt like it was something that I felt very passionate about, just to show the Bristol Asian community that their lives matter - that women really matter. It was just an important thing to do.
"I didn't know Sabina, but as a woman I felt that this was something that I needed to do and I think a lot of women felt the same - that it was something that we needed to do to show our respects."

Elsewhere, hundreds of people have come together in south-east London to remember the murdered teacher.
Sabina's family and friends were among the many who attended, with her sister - Jebina Yasmin Islam - breaking down as she addressed crowds at the vigil.
As the police investigation continues officers need help in identifying a balding man, who could be 'vital' to the case.
He was wearing grey jeans and a black jacket, and can be seen looking over his shoulder and pulling up his hood as he walks along the pavement.
The Metropolitan Police is urging anyone who may know the man to contact them.
