Bristol Rovers are headed back to League One in style.

They've sealed promotion with an incredible 7-0 victory over Scunthorpe at the Memorial Ground.

Joey Barton's side needed to win and better Northampton's result by five goals with a 3-1 success at Barrow not enough for their rivals.

It was the first time since 1964 that Rovers had scored that many goals in a single game - and many had worried promotion wouldn't be on the cards after they lost the first 6 of their 10 games this season.

Fans flooded the pitch after the final whistle and lifted Barton above their heads - setting off blue flares.
