The boys at Urban Tandoor are calling themselves "East India 17"

A Bristol Indian restaurant has got in the Christmas spirit and shared a hilarious cover online of East 17's famous song "Stay Another Day".
Renamed "Bring Another Tray", Urban Tandoor has taken to Tik Tok to call themselves "East India 17" and suggested they get the Christmas Number 1 spot on the Official Chart.
In a spoof of the original music video four men appear dressed as chefs with dark sunglasses on, as fake snow falls around them.
The classic opening lyric "Stay now" is changed to "plain naan", before they continue, "baby if you want a takeaway, or maybe a sit down and stay, won't you bring another tray?"
Since being posted earlier this week the video has received 92,000 views at time of writing.
Sujith D'Almeida is the restaurant's owner.
"Recently we've seen a lot of doom and gloom, strikes, sickness, Covid and things happening, so we thought in our own way we need to get some cheer to society," he said.
"So we came up with the idea of Tik Tok and it's working really well, it's making people happy."
This latest skit covering East 17 is by no means their first video.
Their posts regularly receive tens of thousands of views, so much so that the restaurant now has a specialist team dedicated to help them edit their pieces together.
"It's a great feeling," Sujith said.
"Everyone who walks in, they feel that they've known the place for ages because they've watched us on the video...
"Tik Tok videos travel all around the world so we get people from (the) US, we get people from Australia, Germany, all over the globe, who have seen our videos and especially come to see the staff, so that is good for business."
Reaction to the East 17 cover has been so popular, Sujith says they may well record the rest of the song as a follow up.
"To be honest with you, the number of emails, the number of calls, the number of Facebook requests we're getting, I think the second paragraph is on (the) cards.
"We need to get it sorted."
Comments include that it's a "masterpiece", an "instant classic" and "iconic", while others are calling on Lewis Capaldi to team up with the restaurant.
Urban Tandoor has won several awards in the past, most recently winning Most Wanted Restaurant of the Year at the 2019 English Curry Awards.
