Bristol Bakery shortlisted for national award

Does this make it the best bakery in Bristol?

A Bristol Bakery has been named on the shortlist for the industry's National Bakery of the Year award for 2023.

Hart's Bakery, which you can find underneath the entrance to Temple Meads Train Station, is included on a list of the best South West bakery's, which will now go forward to compete for the national prize, which covers the entire UK.

The winner of the overall title will be announced at a ceremony in London on Wednesday 12 July.

The full list of South West nominees is as follows:

  • Hart's Bakery - Bristol
  • Warrens Bakery - Cornwall
  • Almond Thief Bakery - Devon
  • M's Bakery - Dorset
  • La Boulangerie Artisan - Gloucestershire
  • Burns the Bread - Somerset
  • Hendersons Artisan Bakery - Wiltshire
