A 21-year-old man has been arrested by police following a stabbing in the Easton area of Bristol, announced on the same day we reveal our children's charity Cash for Kids is funding the installation of bleed control kits in public, across the city.

Avon and Somerset Police say officers were called to an altercation at a bus stop on Stapleton Road last night just before 11pm (30th May), before another report came in from the ambulance service that a teenage boy had been stabbed in the leg.

Both calls were attended within minutes and a boy taken to hospital where he has already been discharged.

On top of those two incidents the police say they are also investigating an assault nearby on Tuesday (28th May), which saw another boy taken to hospital.

Police say they are conscious the three incidents could be linked.

Neighbourhood Inspector Chris Green said: "These are extremely concerning incidents and we are working to establish the full circumstances of what happened and identify those responsible.

"A police cordon remains in place in Stapleton Road and officers will be carrying out increased high-visibility patrols in the area over the coming days."

A dispersal order has been issued by the police for a large area of Easton for the next 48 hours, meaning police will move anyone on they suspect could be contributing to crime, disorder or anti social behaviour.

Just a few hours ago we announced our children's charity Cash for Kids is funding the installation of bleed control kits across the city.

One such kit was used on Tuesday to save the life of a man who was stabbed multiple times on Bond Street in the city centre. Three days later he remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition.
