Armed police were called as a bow and arrows were seized in Bristol.
Police were called at 3:10pm on Saturday to reports a bar and arrow had been fired on Bedminster Parade on Saturday.
Nearby roads were also closed as a precautionary measure.
Avon and Somerset Police say officers seized a longbow-type bow and blunt arrows that were not considered capable of causing serious injury around an hour later.
No other weapons were found.
A man was arrested on suspicion of affray and released under investigation as enquiries continue.
Extra uniformed patrols are taking place in the area, and anyone with information or footage is being urged to contact police.
