20th person charged following disorder in Bristol

A 30-year-old man is the latest to be charged with violent disorder

Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed they have charged a 30-year-old man with violent disorder following the unrest in Bristol City Centre on 3 August.

Daniele Mauri, of Bedminster, is due to appear at Bristol Magistrates' Court later today (23 August).

He is the 20th person to be charged as part of the investigation into the disorder with 33 people having been arrested.

So far 9 people have received prison sentences.
