16th arrest in Bristol double murder probe

Avon and Somerset Police have arrested a 16th person in connection with the murders of Mason Rist, 15, and Max Dixon, 16, in Bristol in January.

The arrest was made on 26th of July with the man detained on suspicion of two accounts of assisting an offender, the 25-year-old has been released on bail.

Nine individuals have been charged to date in connection with the murders in the Knowle West area of the city.

Since January, there have been four people charged with two counts of assisting an offender.

Five individuals have been charged with murder, including a 14-year-old boy.

A provisional trial date of 7th October has been set for those charged.

Both Mason and Max were buried in March.
