Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for information after a puppy was hit by a car in Bristol.

The incident happened on Wednesday, November 30 in St Phillips Causeway at about 11:45 in the morning.

The car involved, described as small and grey, did not stop at the scene.

Luckily, despite being hit by car, the pup is now recovering at home.

Officers took the puppy, an 11-month old pug called Blue, to the vets for emergency treatment following the incident.

Blue is now at home being treated with medication.

The force say they are particularly looking for anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch.
