Quad bike rider suffers life changing injuries after serious crash in Farnley

The driver of a quad bike has suffered life threatening injuries after crashing into a parked car in Farnley.

It happened just before 2.30pm yesterday afternoon on Tong Way.

The 33 year old male drive is in hospital - police are appealing for witnesses and footage

West Yorkshire Police released the following statement:

"Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Farnley, Leeds."

"West Yorkshire Roads Policing Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed or has footage of the collision which took place on Tong Way, Farnley, at about 2.25pm on Wednesday March 3.

"It took place after a quad bike, which was being driven on Tong Drive, was in collision with a parked car.

"The 33-year-old male rider of the bike suffered life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

"The bike was removed from the scene prior to police attendance.

"Anyone who saw or has footage of the incident, who saw the quad bike beforehand, or who has knowledge of its whereabouts is asked to contact the police."
