Leeds Rhinos legend Kevin Sinfield's running from Leicester to Leeds, to raise money for a new Motor Neurone Disease treatment centre.

In December 2020, Sinfield raised more than £2.7 million by running seven marathons in seven days.

He's now taking on his next mammoth challenge, setting off from the home of Premiership Rugby Union side Leicester, to Headingley Stadium in Leeds.

The run will be split into seven kilometre segments over 24 hours, with a new leg of the journey starting every hour.

In total, it'll cover 101 miles.

Sinfield's completing the challenge for his friend and former teammate Rob Burrow, who was diagnosed with MND in 2019.

Donations will be split between the Leeds Hospitals Charity appeal to build the Rob Burrow Centre for MND in Leeds, and the MND Association.
