Jewellery has been stolen during a break-in to a house in The Beeches area of Tweedbank - opposite Gunknowe Loch.
Police are appealing for information following the theft, which happened around 12.10am on Saturday morning (February 1st).
It's the second break-in reported in the Scottish Borders in the past week, with several items taken during a raid on a property in Kirkside, Denholm, the previous Monday (January 27th).

“A small blue hatchback car was seen in The Beeches around the time of the break-in and left the street in the direction of Weavers Linn.
“I would urge anyone who saw anything suspicious, or a car matching this description in the area, to contact us.
"Anyone with information or footage that may assist our enquiry should contact 101 quoting incident number 2363 of February 3rd. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
