Three bikes stolen as thieves target farm near A7

Police are appealing for the public's help to trace a quad bike stolen from a farm near the A7 at Teviothead.

It was one of three bikes taken by thieves sometime between Wednesday and Thursday this week.

But another quad bike and and an off-road bike have since been recovered in nearby woodland.

The missing bike is a blue Yamaha - registration: SK22 PHA.

Detective Constable Ashley Black, from Police Scotland, said: “We are carrying out enquiries to find out where the quad bike is.

“Anyone who has dash-cam footage or private CCTV is asked to get in touch, you may have captured something that can assist our investigation.”

The bikes were stolen from Falnash sometime between 8.30am on Wednesday, September 4th,and 6am the following day.

Anyone with any information or saw anything suspicious is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting 0566 of Thursday, September 5th, 2024.
