Peeblesshire man appears in court charged with three counts of rape

A 25-year-old man from Peeblesshire's appeared in court accused of three counts of rape.

Liam Scott faces of a total 12 charges - including three assaults and an assault with attempt to rape; and four counts of threatening or abusive behaviour.

He made no plea when he appeared in private at Selkirk Sheriff Court.

Scott was committed for further examination and released on bail, pending his next court appearance.
