Woman appears in court in connection with Miniature Schnauzers 'dangerously out of control' in Eyemouth
A 44-year-old woman's appeared in court charged with being responsible for dogs which, it's alleged, were dangerously out of control in Eyemouth on seven occasions last year.
Suzy Paxton is also charged with five breaches of a dog control order by failing to ensure her Miniature Schnauzers - named Annie, Trevor and Jasper - were muzzled and kept on a lead in public at all times.
Among the incidents alleged to have taken place between June and December 2024, one of the dogs is alleged to have barked aggressively and chased a child at the town's primary school, while another is alleged to have lunged at a police officer.
It's claimed one of the dogs aggressively approached and bit a woman on the leg at Eyemouth Caravan Park and elsewhere on June 20th last year.
Annie is further accused of chasing and biting another woman on the body at the general store, in the town's High Street, on September 29th.

Court papers also list a second incident at Eyemouth Primary School on December 11th last year in which all three Miniature Schnauzers are alleged to have barked, growled and lunged at a man and his Labrador.
Paxton, who gave an address in Haymons Cove, Eyemouth, made no plea to all 12 charges when the case called at Jedburgh Sheriff Court on Monday.
It's due to recall on March 24th.
