Body found in search for teenager reported missing in the Scottish Borders

Police searching for a teenager reported missing in the Scottish Borders say a body has been found.
The grim discovery was made in a wooded area on the outskirts of Ancrum earlier today (Wednesday).
Formal identification is yet to take place, but officers say the family of Margaret Grigor have been informed.
The 18-year-old was last seen in Melrose - around ten miles away - around 4.30pm on Tuesday.
She was wearing walking gear at the time of her disappearance, and police were quick to put out an appeal to find her, which was widely shared.
Officers say the teenager's death is not believed to be suspicious, and a report detailing the circumstances will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
