An appeal's been launched for help after thieves struck in overnight raids in the Borders.

A KTM dirt bike was taken from Whiteburn Farm, Lauder, around 10pm last night (Saturday).

Family of the victim say: "We've been robbed! Tyre tracks on road from parked vehicle point north."

They urge their friends on social media to share photographs of the bike (pictured) to "make it too hot to handle".

Meanwhile, a quad bike has been reported stolen from Baddinsgill Farm near West Linton at 5am this morning (Sunday) - although the owners have revealed the vehicle, which had a tracker, has since been recovered.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101.
