Woman, 28, arrested in connection with fire at home in Jedburgh

A 28-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a fire at a home in Jedburgh.
Emergency teams raced to the scene, in the town's Allerley Crescent, after the alarm was raised around 3.40pm this afternoon (Thursday).
Three fire crews helped to extinguish the blaze in the residential street.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 3.41pm on Thursday to reports of a well-developed fire affecting one residential property on Allerley Crescent in Jedburgh.
"Operations Control mobilised three fire appliances to the scene where crews worked to extinguish the fire.
"There were no casualties, and crews left the scene at 5.20pm after ensuring the area was made safe."

Police say no-one was injured in the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 4pm on Thursday, to a report of a fire at a property on Allerley Crescent in Jedburgh.
“The fire was put out by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and no one was injured.
“A 28-year-old woman has been arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing.”
It's the latest in a series of call-outs for the fire service in the Borders in recent days.
Yesterday, two people had to be rescued after the car they were travelling in crashed into the Leet Water near Swinton.
On Tuesday night, crews in Peebles were called to the town's High Street after a car (pictured above) left the road and appeared to collide with a building - sparking fears of a gas leak.
And, on Sunday, firefighters worked into the evening to contain a blaze (below) which destroyed bales of straw valued at around £8,000 near Heiton.
