Bamburgh Castle makes an explosive appearance in a new trailer for the latest Indiana Jones movie.
The two-minute clip - which features The Rolling Stones' hit Sympathy For The Devil - was shared at the Star Wars Celebration event in London yesterday (Friday).
The film's star, Harrison Ford, visited the Northumberland attraction in June 2021 to shoot scenes for the Dial of Destiny, which is due for release this summer.
Local residents were notified in advance that there would be "use of atmospheric smoke, special effects fireworks and flares and gunfire sounds".
At the time, flames could be seen lighting up the sky in photos taken during a night shoot.
A Second World War-era motorbike was also visible in one of the images taken at the historic site, which was closed to the public for several days to allow filming to take place.
A day earlier, Ford was photographed filming scenes alongside co-star Toby Jones at Leaderfoot, near Melrose, in the Scottish Borders which appeared in an earlier trailer, which got its first airing during February's Super Bowl.
It's hoped the movie's release will help attract more visitors to our region; in a way similar to the impact the Harry Potter movies had on the Glenfinnan Viaduct, in the Highlands.
The fifth and, potentially, final film in the Indiana Jones franchise - directed by James Mangold and also starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Antonio Banderas - is due to get its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 18.
David Hope-Jones, chief executive of the South of Scotland Destination Alliance, told us: "It's vital that we use these opportunities, and accolades, to really drive tourism through the summer months; but especially importantly in the spring and autumn, when our hotels aren't typically so full; and driving right through into the winter months, to turn our region into a year-round destination."
