Man charged with sexually assaulting woman at Hawick primary school

A 63-year-old man has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman at a school in Hawick.
Gary King is alleged to have struck the named person on the buttocks at the town's Trinity Primary.
He's also accused of communicating indecently with the same woman at the same school, by making sexual remarks towards her.
The offences are alleged to have taken place between January 2020 and September last year.
King pled not guilty to both charges when he appeared at Jedburgh Sheriff Court today (Monday), and the case was continued to trial on August 29th, with a preliminary hearing on August 14th.
