Man caught with cannabis at Hawick home is fined

A 38-year-old man caught with cannabis with an estimated value of £96 at his home in Hawick has been fined a total of £210 at Jedburgh Sheriff Court this morning (Thursday).

Stuart Ogilvie was found with three separate packs of the Class B drug, weighing a total of 9.66 grams, when police called at his address in McLaren Court on October 7th, 2021.

However, a not guilty plea to possession of heroin on the same date was accepted by the Crown.
