Car enthusisiasts from across the country converged on the Scottish Borders to remember a 20-year-old man fatally injured in a crash near his home in Galashiels.

Engines were revved in tribute to Mason Mackenzie during the special meet at Netherdale, on the second anniversary of his death.

His red Seat Ibiza collided with another motor here, at Buckholm Corner, just two days after Christmas 2021.

He was taken to hospital but died six days later.

Mason's friend, Jack Murphy, helped organise last night's event.
