Two cars stolen following overnight raid on home in Duns

Two cars have been stolen following an overnight break-in at a house in Duns.

Thieves snatched the keys for a grey Volkswagen Golf GTI Performance car, and a black BMW 435D convertible during a raid in the town's Preston Road, before taking the vehicles from the driveway.

It happened between 10.30pm last night (Sunday, April 16th) and 8am this morning (Monday, April 17th).

Police are appealing to anyone with information to come foward.

Detective Constable Ashley Black said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously around this area at the time, or anyone who has knowledge of where the stolen cars are now.

“We encourage anyone with CCTV or Ring doorbell cameras to please check your footage around this time and get in touch as this may assist in our enquiries.”

Anyone who has information should contact police via 101 quoting incident number 0502 of April 17th, 2023.
