A former British Junior Downhill champion has become the latest target of mountain bike thieves in the Borders.
William Brodie revealed his Specialized e-bike - worth more than £10,000 - was taken from a garden shed in Denholm in the early hours of Monday morning, around 1am.
The suspects are believed to have made their escape in a blue Audi in the direction of Jedburgh.
Anyone with camera footage along the route is urged to contact police.
The bike, which is described as a Turbo Levo Pro, had silt MTB wheels and sixpack racing bars.

Detective Constable Ashley Black, from Police Scotland, said: “The suspects have clearly targeted this property, knowing there was a high-value item in the shed, and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“We are appealing to anyone in the Denholm area who noticed any suspicious activity leading up to the theft to please pass this information on to police.
“We would also urge any motorists with dash-cams who were in the area in the early hours of Monday morning to check their footage in case they have captured a blue Audi or anything else which could be of significance.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0194 of Monday, October 2nd, 2023. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
