Cash stolen during break-in at Borders community centre

A two-figure sum of cash was stolen during a break-in at the community centre in Coldstream.

It happened sometime overnight on Monday.

Police say enquiries are ongoing and appealing to the public for information.

A spokesperson said: "The centre was broken into between 8.30pm on Monday, May 13th and 6.30am on Tuesday, May 14th.

"Enquiries are continuing to gather more information and we urge anyone with information or personal footage, or if you seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area, to please contact 101 with incident number 0529 of May 14th."
