Police seize thousands of pounds worth of cocaine during search of home in Hawick
A court's been hearing how police found thousands of pounds worth of cocaine after searching a home in Hawick.
Officers called at Daniel Chatwynd's address in Oliver Park on December the 15th last year.
But the 34-year-old immediately became obstructive - shouting and swearing, and threatening to find out where they live and "do" them all in.
At Jedburgh Sheriff Court today (Monday), Drew Long, prosecuting, added: "It took some time to calm Mr Chatwynd."
The court heard the 48g of cocaine seized had an estimated value of between £2,450 and £3,740.

A mobile phone with incriminating text messages, a set of scales, and £440 in cash was also found in the property.
Chetwynd admitted being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug, as well as behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
Sheriff Peter Paterson warned him the matters were "extremely serious", before deferring sentence for background reports - to see if there is any alternative to custody.
