A 50-year-old man caught with almost two kilos of cannabis in Hawick has been given a six month home curfew and ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work.
But he's being allowed to stay out later on a Tuesday - so he can play in the local darts league.
Paul Richardson previously admitted being concerned in the supply of the Class B drug following a police search of a property in the town's Eildon Road on January the 27th this year.
Jedburgh Sheriff Court heard the illicit haul - said to weigh 1,873g - was estimated to be worth between £7,675 and £18,710.
Richardson, who gave an address in Galashiels, has been ordered to stay at home between the hours of 8pm and 6am for the next six months, with the exception of Tuesdays - when he must be home between 10.30pm and 6am.
Co-accused Andrew Mercer, a 51-year-old from Hawick, pled guilty to possession of around £150 worth of amphetamine - also a Class B drug - on the same date.
Returning for sentence today (Monday), Sheriff Peter Anderson fined him £300 and ordered him to pay a £20 victim surcharge.

Meanwhile, in a separate case, Polish national Dawid Thamm has also been handed a six month home curfew after being caught with cocaine worth a five-figure sum at another address in Hawick.
The 29-year-old previously pled guilty to a charge of possession of the Class A drug with intent to supply, at an address in Ruberslaw Road and elsewhere, between November the 29th, 2019 and January 11th, 2022.
Jedburgh Sheriff Court heard 105g of the drug with a potential street value of £10,400 was found at the property.
In addition to the home curfew - which means he must stay at home between the hours of 8pm and 6am - Thamm has also been ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work.
