A7 closed between Galashiels and Stow following report of smash

The A7 is closed between Galashels and Stow following reports of an accident.
The alert was received shortly after 5pm this evening (Wednesday).
Emergency services appeared to be on scene on the long straight south of Stow, with traffic being stopped at the Bowland junction.
The road has since reopened. We'll bring you more as we get it.
The road was also closed between Hawick and Langholm earlier today after suspicious materials were found in a property at the side of the road, near Teviothead.
The bomb disposal squad were called out and the area was sealed off, but has since reopened.
