Man arrested after stealing car at knifepoint in Wolverhampton
A man was threatened with a knife whilst sat in his own car
A 21-year-old man has been arrested today (5th September) on suspicion of robbery and nine counts of theft of motor vehicles after stealing a man's car at knifepoint.
The victim was reportedly sat in his car on Ladymoor Road on 4th May when he was threatened with a knife.
The victim was then pulled out of the car before it was stolen.
A West Midlands police spokesperson said "Officers from our Dudley Vehicle Crime Team launched a thorough investigation into the incident and have today arrested a man.
"The team are also investigating reports of multiple theft of motor vehicles from areas including Amblecote, Coseley, Tipton, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Sedgley, and Bilston.
"He remains in custody while our enquiries continue."
