West Midlands Safari Park's white tiger dies before turning twenty

West Midlands Safari Park have announced the death of their white tiger, Ben, says before his 20th birthday.

The park has shared it was due to "age-related health".

The white tiger was in fact born at the park on October 4, 2004.

In 2022, Ben had contracted malignant melanoma on his right eyelid, which led to him losing his eye.

Staff at West Midlands Safari Park say "he will be deeply missed by all who have cared for him over the years".

The park are asking visitors to share their photos and memories of Ben online in his memory.
