Two men charged after police officer injured in Walsall hit-and-run
Saqib Ali, 28, and Awais Majid, 21, have been remanded in police custody.
Two men have appeared in court after a hit-and-run in Walsall left a police officer with leg injuries.
The incident happened on Reservoir Place, Oldbury, at around 10:30am on Saturday morning (24 Feb).
Saqib Ali, 28, was charged with wounding with the intent to resist arrest and possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
Awais Majid, 21, was charged with assisting an offender and possession with intent to supply.
They both appeared before Birmingham magistrates yesterday.
They will remanded in police custody until a hearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court next month.
