Two Dudley men charged with drug offences
They are due in court today.
Two men are appearing in court this morning, accused of supplying Class A drugs in Dudley.
The pair were arrested at two addresses in Warrens Hall and The Priory, yesterday (9 August).
They were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences, with officers investigating a suspected drugs line in operation across Dudley.
Following further enquiries, they were both charged to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court this morning.
Callum Hollingsworth, aged 35, is charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine.
Demique Williams, aged 21, is charged with the possession of prohibited ammunition, being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, being concerned in the supply of heroin, possession of a firearm, possession with intent to supply heroin, possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and possession of criminal property.
In a statement on their website, West Midlands Police said: "We're committed to tackling serious and organised crime in the West Midlands, and earlier this year we launched Operation Target.
"It brings together our efforts to tackle a range of crimes, from firearms to drug dealing and burglary, to cyber-crime and fraud.
"Officers will be using local intelligence, seizing goods, carrying out warrants and targeting offenders as part of Op Target’s ongoing crackdown against serious and organised crime."
