Third charge over fatal Walsall shooting

Police have charged a third man over a fatal shooting in Walsall.

Connor Brookes, 20, was shot dead on Well Lane in Blakenhall on 8 July.

Julian Falconer, 19, from Willenhall has been charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a firearm.

He will appear before magistrates in Wolverhampton today (3 August).

Two other men have previously been charged in connection to the incident.

Jake Sanbrook, 22, from Bloxwich and Byron Sellick, 22, from Walsall, were charged with murder as well as attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

They are both due to appear at Wolverhampton Crown court later this month.

Two teenagers, aged 17 and 18, who were also arrested have been released on bail.

West Midlands Police said their investigation continues and urged anyone with information to get in contact.
