A teenager was seriously injured during disorder in Smethwick after a group of men entered a store with weapons.

It happened in West Cross Shopping Centre, Oldbury Road on January 2nd 2025.

Police said that a 17-year-old boy was repeatedly struck before 8.10pm, suffering injuries to his head and body.

They boy was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, whilst the group fled the scene.

West Midlands Police are appealing for information.
