A Shropshire man's become the 44th person to be charged following disorder in Southport.

Rory Allington-Mott, 34, from Newport, Shropshire, has been charged with violent disorder.

He's been remanded in custody and is due in court on Monday.

Merseyside Police say 75 people have now been arrested in connection with recent disorder in Southport and Liverpool.
