Man arrested after body found in disused building in Shrewsbury
A man was found deceased today (27th June)
A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a man was found in a disused building.
West Mercia Police said they were called this morning (27th June) at around 11.50am to a disused building near Shelton Water Tower.
A man was found deceased there.
Inspector Gordon Kaye said “We are at the very early stages of our investigation, but we do believe the victim and the suspect are known to each other. Our communities can expect to see an increased police presence in the area as we carry out our enquiries.
