A 21-year-old man has been charged in connection with a shooting in Wolverhampton last December.

It's after a man was seriously injured when a gun was fired on Westbourne Road on 18th December 2024.

The victim's injuries were not life-threatening.

West Midlands Police say they've charged 21-year-old Ethan Edwards from Wolverhampton with attempted murder, and having a firearm with intent to commit and offence.

He appeared before Magistrates Court last Friday (14th March) and will next make an appearance at Crown Court in April.

Edwards is the second person charged in connection with this offence, with detectives previously charging another 21-year-old.
