RAF worker jailed for sex offences against two girls
The offences happened in Shropshire and Worcestershire.
An RAF worker been jailed for sex offences committed against two girls, including four counts of rape.
Glenn Poyner, formerly of RAF Benson in Oxfordshire, admitted the rapes, one count of assault by penetration, one of causing a child aged under 13 to engage in sexual activity, and two of sexual activity with a child, in May.
The 35-year-old carried out the attacks between 2018 and 2021 at several locations, including in Worcestershire and Shropshire, according to West Mercia Police.
Appearing at Shrewsbury Crown Court today (1 September), Poyner was told he'll serve 19 years 6 months in prison.
He'll then serve 4 years 6 months on extended licence and will be on the sex offenders register for life.
